The Sutton Weed Farm

A 150 Yr. Centennial Farm

The maple syrup you have purchased has a beginning with Indian Tribes in the 1700’s. The farm was ideally situated as a refuge during the cold winters with timber, and game. The Objibwa tribe began sugaring the maple trees during this period. The family has found indian artifacts, and arrowheads, throughout this 40 acre tree stand. For the past 100 years, these woods have been ‘sugared’ by the Sutton Family. We thought we would share this unique flavor with our friends. Enjoy.
